Mr. Campbell provides professional fiduciaries, families, and individuals with the legal planning and protection they need. With a focus on prompt service and competitive prices, Mr. Campbell has the commitment to clients and years of experience to get things done.
Mr. Campbell graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois and became a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) immediately thereafter. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School, where he spent a semester studying International Law at St. Anne's College in Oxford, England. He continued on to obtain a Master's of Law in taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Through his work as a C.P.A. and his education in law and taxation, Mr. Campbell gained experience in the nuances of financial planning, accounting, and issues of taxation. This experience helps him comprehend the full ramifications of his clients' estate planning and related needs and provide thorough representation.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Campbell is actively involved in the community and educates others by teaching seminars on advanced estate planning and trusts. Mr. Campbell works as the supervising attorney for the Alameda County Volunteer Guardianship Clinic, which provides free legal advice to low income clients. He is an officer of the Trust and Estate Executive Committee of the Alameda County Bar Association and he sits on the Probate Bench-Bar Advisory Committee. He serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court of California in and for the County of Alameda, as well as a court-appointed fiduciary. In addition to his activities within the legal community, Mr. Campbell acts as trustee of the Oakland Rotary Endowment.
Mr. Campbell has earned the Wiley Manuel Award for Pro Bono Services every year that he has been a practicing attorney. He is also a recipient of the Jack Berman Award of Achievement for Distinguished Service to the Profession and Public.
